The invention relates to a vehicle-mounted intelligent unit serving a CVCS and a control method of the vehicle-mounted intelligent unit. The vehicle-mounted intelligent unit comprises an information sensing subsystem which is used for receiving the sensing data and information, fusing the received sensing data and information, and providing a sensing information fusion recognition function; a map positioning subsystem which is used for providing the positioning and navigation information for the vehicle; a cooperative processing subsystem which is used for cooperating with a cooperative automatic driving system to realize an automatic driving function of the vehicle. The information sensing subsystem, the map positioning subsystem and the cooperative processing subsystem are respectively connected with a supporting subsystem, and the supporting subsystem is used for carrying out redundancy verification on the information of a module, maintaining the safety of a communication network and the vehicle-mounted intelligent unit and providing a power supply. According to the invention, the CADS service is provided for the conventional vehicle control system CVCS, the vehicle-mounted intelligent unit VIU obviously reduces the cost of a control system of a vehicle with the same intelligent level, and the automatic driving function is provided for the vehicles with various intelligent levels or automation levels.

    本发明涉及一种服务于CVCS的车载智能单元及其控制方法,包括:信息感知子系统:用于接收感知数据和信息,并将接收的感知数据和信息进行融合,提供感知信息融合识别功能;地图定位子系统:用于为车辆提供定位和导航信息;协同处理子系统:用于与协同式自动驾驶系统协作,实现车辆的自动驾驶功能;信息感知子系统、地图定位子系统和协同处理子系统分别与支撑子系统连接,支撑子系统用于对模块的信息进行冗余验证,维护通信网络和车载智能单元的安全,并提供电源。本发明通过为常规车辆控制系统CVCS提供CADS服务,车载智能单元VIU显著降低了同等智能化级别车辆的控制系统成本,为各种智能级别或自动化水平的车辆提供自动驾驶功能。
