The invention discloses a storage battery charging method, which comprises the following steps: detecting the real-time voltage of a vehicle storage battery, and judging whether the storage battery is lack of electricity or not according to the real-time voltage; if the storage battery is lack of electricity, sending an electricity lack prompt to a user terminal associated with the vehicle; and receiving a power supply instruction fed back by the user according to the power shortage prompt, and controlling the vehicle to start when the vehicle accords with a preset starting state so as to realize power supply of the storage battery. The invention further discloses the vehicle-mounted terminal and a computer readable storage medium. According to the invention, the power shortage condition of the battery can be handled in time, so that a user can know and supplement power to the power-shortage storage battery in time.
