The invention relates to an elevator device, in particular to an elevator safety brake which comprises a base, a shaft mechanism, a first-stage braking mechanism and a second-stage braking mechanism, the device can adjust the speed of an elevator through a friction plate until the elevator is stopped during normal operation of the elevator, and when the first-stage speed reduction does not play a role, the second-stage friction plate is used for decelerating and stopping the brake; the shaft mechanism is in running fit with the base, the first-stage braking mechanism is fixed on the base, and the second-stage braking mechanism is fixed with the base.
