The invention belongs to the technical field of aircraft structure design, and particularly relates to a method for determining the layout of a flat plate structure under the action of a pure bending load. The method comprises the following steps: building a relational expression s between an edge strip axial pressure load and an edge strip cross section area based on the maximum working stress of a flat plate panel; establishing a relational expression w between the cross-sectional area of the edge strip and the inertia moment of the edge strip; establishing a relational expression v of the edge strip axial load, the edge strip inertia moment and the number of edge strip segments parallel to the width of the flat plate; establishing a relational expression z between the pure bending allowable stress of the flat plate and the number of the edge strip segments perpendicular to the width of the flat plate; setting the value of the ratio of the edge strip segmentation distance perpendicular to the width of the flat plate to the edge strip segmentation distance parallel to the width of the flat plate, and making the pure bending allowable stress of the flat plate to be equal to the maximum working stress of the flat plate; and obtaining the result by combining several pairs. The edge strip is more accurately set by accurately calculating the position of the edge strip and the specification of the edge strip, the large design error of the edge strip is avoided, and universality is achieved.
