The invention provides a traffic signal synchronous and asynchronous control system which comprises a traffic signal control card. The traffic signal control card comprises a control card shell, an asynchronous control mainboard, a Wi F i module, a synchronous control mainboard, a power supply, a network interface and a WiFi antenna. The asynchronous control mainboard, the WiFi module, the synchronous control mainboard and the power supply are fixedly installed in the control card shell. The power supply is electrically connected with the asynchronous control mainboard and the synchronous control mainboard, the asynchronous control mainboard and the synchronous control mainboard are electrically connected through a network interface, and the synchronous control mainboard is electrically connected with the WiFi module.
