The invention relates to the technical field of buffers, and discloses a hydraulic buffer with an elastic buffer component. The hydraulic buffer comprises a sleeve, wherein a piston rod is movably arranged in the middle of the sleeve, a collided head is fixedly arranged at the upper end of the piston rod, a buffer spring is fixedly connected to the bottom of the collided head, and the bottom end of the buffer spring is fixedly connected to the sleeve. According to the hydraulic buffer with the elastic buffer component, hydraulic pressure is adopted in an inner cylinder for two-stage buffering, so that when the buffer is compressed, elastic buffering serves as the leading mode, the buffer spring is compressed to gradually deform; when the buffer spring is compressed to be completely in a compressed state, hydraulic buffering serves as the leading mode at the moment, and the piston rod and a piston continue to move downwards; and braking acting force is generated on a lift car by controlling an overflowing gap of the inner cylinder, the process from elastic buffering to hydraulic buffering is achieved through two-stage buffering, a better buffering effect can be obtained, and the braking acting force on the lift car tends to be linearly changed and is more stable.
