The transponder comprises a transponder main body, a floating mechanism and a control mechanism, the floating mechanism comprises an emergency ring, and the emergency ring is located on the outer side of the transponder main body; a first empty groove is included and is formed in the surface of one side of the emergency ring; a buoyancy block is included and is movably connected to the inner side of the first empty groove, and an elastic piece is arranged at the joint of the buoyancy block and the first empty groove; a baffle is included and is movably connected to the inner side of the first empty groove; a movable groove is included and is formed in the inner side of the first empty groove; and a control mechanism is included and comprises a sensing module, a central processing module, a motor module, an alarm module and a power supply module. By means of the floating mechanism and the control mechanism, when the transponder main body accidentally falls into the sea, the buoyancy block can be quickly pushed out through the water-sensitive sensor, the transponder main body has buoyancy, the phenomenon that the transponder main body sinks into the sea bottom is avoided, and the overall safety of the transponder main body can be improved.
