The invention relates to an overturn-preventing device and method for a profile steel self-climbing robot. The device comprises: a pair of adjusting mechanisms installed at the bottom of the robot in a swinging mode, wherein the adjusting mechanisms are arranged on the two opposite sides of profile steel, and the bottoms of the adjusting mechanisms can be located below the profile steel or located on the outer side of the profile steel through swinging adjustment; and rolling wheels which are rotatably mounted on the adjusting mechanisms, wherein the rolling wheels can be positioned below the profile steel along with swinging adjustment of the adjusting mechanisms so as to be attached to the lower surface of the profile steel to roll, or are positioned on the outer side of the profile steel along with swinging adjustment of the adjusting mechanism. The pair of adjusting mechanisms capable of being clamped on the profile steel in a sleeving mode and the rolling wheels capable of freely rotating are arranged on the robot, walking of the robot can be matched through free rotation of the rolling wheels, the situation that walking of the robot is hindered is avoided, and the pair of adjusting mechanisms can play a limiting role in walking of the robot, so that the robot has reliable anti-overturning capability, and the safety of the robot is ensured.

    本发明涉及一种型钢自爬式机器人用的防倾覆装置及方法,该装置包括:可摆动地安装于机器人底部的一对调节机构,调节机构设于型钢的相对两侧,通过摆动调节可使得调节机构的底部位于型钢的下方或者位于型钢的外侧;可转动的安装于调节机构上的滚动轮,滚动轮可随着调节机构的摆动调节而位于型钢的下方进而贴在型钢的下表面进行滚动或者随着调节机构的摆动调节而位于型钢的外侧。本发明通过在机器人上设置一对可卡套在型钢上的调节机构以及可自由转动的滚动轮,通过滚动轮的自由转动可配合机器人的行走,避免对机器人的行走产生阻碍,且一对调节机构能够对机器人的行走产生限位作用,使得机器人具有可靠的防倾覆能力,保证机器人的安全性。
