The invention provides a storage battery secondary utilization determination system and a storage battery secondary utilization determination method capable of more appropriately determining whether secondary utilization of a storage battery mounted on a vehicle is possible. In a battery reutilization determination system provided with an in-vehicle device and a server device, the in-vehicle device is provided with a detection part that detects the operating state of each constituent element provided in a vehicle including a battery mounted in the vehicle; and a control part that acquires information on the operation state detected by the detection unit and causes the first communication device to transmit the acquired information on the operation state to the server device, the server device is provided with an observation part for observing the detection of the operating state of each constituent element provided in the vehicle, which may be the main cause of the battery failure; and a determination part that determines whether or not the storage battery can be reutilized on the basis of the operating state observed by the observation unit.

    本发明提供能够更适当地进行对于在车辆上搭载过的蓄电池的二次利用的可否判定的蓄电池二次利用判定系统及蓄电池二次利用判定方法。在具备车载装置和服务器装置的蓄电池二次利用判定系统中,车载装置具备:对包括搭载于车辆的蓄电池在内的车辆具备的各个构成要素的动作状态进行检测的检测部;以及取得检测部检测出的动作状态的信息并使第一通信装置将取得的动作状态的信息朝向服务器装置发送的控制部,服务器装置具备:基于由车载装置发送且第二通信装置接收到的动作状态的信息,来观察可能成为蓄电池发生故障的主要原因的车辆具备的各个构成要素的动作状态的检测的观察部;以及基于观察部观察到的动作状态来判定蓄电池可否二次利用的判定部。
