The invention relates to the technical field of photovoltaic power generation, in particular to a photovoltaic array solar azimuth tracking system and a use method. The system comprises a photovoltaic array and a plurality of auxiliary devices, each auxiliary device comprises a detection assembly and a power driving assembly, and each detection assembly comprises a solar azimuth detector and a computer system; the output end of the solar azimuth detector is connected with the computer system, the power driving assembly is controlled by the computer system, and the power driving assembly drives the photovoltaic assembly to rotate. According to the use method of the photovoltaic array solar azimuth tracking system, the detection assemblies are used for obtaining solar azimuth information, the computer systems analyze the solar azimuth information and send control instructions to the power driving assemblies, the power driving assemblies pull the photovoltaic array to rotate, the azimuth angle conversion is achieved, and therefore, the generating capacity of the photovoltaic array is improved.
