The invention relates to a vehicle-mounted storage battery main power failure detection control device which comprises a power failure detection circuit and a first diode, the power failure detection circuit is connected with the negative electrode of the first diode, the positive electrode of the first diode is connected with a vehicle-mounted power consumption module, the power failure detection circuit is used for detecting power failure of the vehicle-mounted storage battery main power, and sending power failure information to a hardware platform system module, and sending the power failure information to the vehicle-mounted power consumption module through the first diode. The invention further provides a system and a method for quickly reducing power consumption during power failure. According to the vehicle-mounted terminal power failure detection control device and the power failure rapid power consumption reduction system and method, under the condition that the volume of standby power supply is not increased, the standby power supply time can be further prolonged for storing important data.
