The pedal assembly is configured to push the brake master cylinder push rod to linearly move towards the brake master cylinder after being triggered under the action of external force and disconnect the brake master cylinder push rod from the drive-by-wire telescopic assembly, and to drive the brake master cylinder push rod to reset after the external force disappears. According to the manned and unmanned dual-purpose brake mechanism for the two-wheeled vehicle, on the basis that a part of the structure of a traditional brake mechanism of the two-wheeled vehicle is reserved, free switching between a manned brake mode and an unmanned brake mode of the two-wheeled vehicle can be conveniently achieved by utilizing the brake pedal and a servo electric cylinder and combining part of brand-new structural design, and the two-wheeled vehicle can be ridden by a person or driven in an unmanned mode.
