The invention provides a traffic early warning method, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: receiving the driving information of a terminal device, the driving information comprising a real-time position; judging whether the distance between the real-time position of the terminal equipment and an early warning site in a preset map traffic information base is smaller than a preset threshold value or not; and if yes, generating an early warning message according to the speed limit information corresponding to the early warning site, and sending the early warning message to the terminal equipment in a rich media information form. In the implementation process, firstly, the server receives the real-time position of the terminal equipment; and then, whether the distance between the hour position and an early warning place in a preset map traffic information base is smaller than a preset threshold value is judged, if so, the early warning message is packaged into a rich media information form, and the early warning message is sent to the terminal equipment. The traffic early warning message is obtained according to the real-time position of the terminal equipment, so that the early warning message has real-time performance.
