The present invention relates to a molding base material capable of realizing a vehicle exterior material in which attached snow or ice is easy to peel off. The present invention addresses the technical problem of having a fiber base material layer that contains a core-sheath composite fiber in which the sheath part is a polypropylene-based resin and the core part is a polyester-based resin, wherein snow or ice adhering to the base material for molding is difficult to peel off. The technical problem can be solved by adjusting the mass percentage of the core-sheath composite fibers in the fibers forming the fiber base material layer. Specifically, provided is a base material for molding, which is provided with the fiber base material layer having a mass percentage of more than 70% by mass, and thus makes it possible to achieve an exterior material for a vehicle in which attached snow or ice is easy to peel off.

    本发明涉及一种成型用基材,其可实现附着的雪或冰易于剥落的车辆用外装材料。本发明发现:具备纤维基材层,且该纤维基材层包含鞘部为聚丙烯类树脂、芯部为聚酯类树脂的芯鞘型复合纤维的成型用基材中所产生的附着的雪或冰难以剥离这一技术问题,可通过调节该芯鞘型复合纤维在构成该纤维基材层的纤维中所占的质量百分比来解决。具体而言,提供了一种成型用基材,其具备该质量百分比大于70质量%的纤维基材层,因此可实现附着的雪或冰易于剥落的车辆用外装材料。
