The invention relates to an electromagnetic rotary lifting appliance. The electromagnetic rotary lifting appliance comprises a rigging, a lifting appliance upper frame, a lifting appliance upper frame slewing bearing part, a lifting appliance lower cross beam, a lifting appliance lower cross beam slewing bearing part, a shackle chain and electromagnetic chucks, a C-shaped hook claw mounting frame is fixed on the lower surface of the lifting appliance lower cross beam between two adjacent electromagnetic chucks, and the lower end part of the C-shaped hook claw mounting frame is higher than the lower end surfaces of the electromagnetic chucks; and a first C-shaped claw, a second C-shaped claw and a C-shaped claw driving mechanism are mounted on the C-shaped claw mounting frame; the first C-shaped claw and the second C-shaped claw are linked with each other, and the C-shaped claw driving mechanism can drive the first C-shaped claw and the second C-shaped claw to be opened or closed synchronously. The traditional work of manually tying and unloading the rigging at a hoisting starting point and a hoisting ending point is abandoned, unmanned hoisting of the rigging is realized, and the safety of hoisting goods with small hoisting contact area and high danger coefficient is guaranteed.
