The invention discloses a method for hanging and buckling a large steel wire rope rigging. The method comprises the following steps that S1, a support used for supporting a hoisting supporting rod is placed at a designated position; S2, the hoisting supporting rod is placed on the support; S3, a steel wire rope is placed below the hoisting supporting rod, and a clamping ring and the steel wire rope are connected together; S4, the clamping ring is placed in a clamping ring base, and the clamping ring base is clamped through a forklift; and S5, the clamping ring base is slowly moved through the forklift, meanwhile, the steel wire rope connected with the clamping ring is synchronously moved through a crane till the clamping ring and a lifting lug on the hoisting supporting rod are connected together, and hanging and buckling of the steel wire rope are completed. The hanging and buckling steps of the large steel wire rope rigging are simplified, and the operation difficulty of a user is reduced.
