The invention relates to the technical field of elevators, in particular to a learning tool for an absolute position of an elevator and a learning method for the absolute position of the elevator. The learning tool for the absolute position of the elevator is in communication connection with an elevator control system, and a detector is arranged on the elevator and can detect the absolute position of the elevator. The learning tool for the absolute position of the elevator comprises a box body and a circuit board arranged in the box body. The box body is provided with a page turning button and a calibration button; the page turning button and the calibration button are electrically connected with the circuit board; different target positions can be selected for calibration by operating the page turning button; and when the elevator runs to the corresponding target position selected through the page turning button, the learning tool for the absolute position of the elevator can obtain the absolute position of the corresponding target position sent by the detector, and the absolute position can be obtained by operating the calibration button. The learning tool for the absolute position of the elevator and the learning method for the absolute position of the elevator provided by the invention have the advantages that the operation is simple, the learning tool structure is simple, and the learning cost is low.
