The invention relates to the technical field of railway vehicles, in particular to an emergency braking device for a railway vehicle. The emergency braking device comprises a driving mechanism, a connecting piece and a braking piece, the braking piece is arranged on the connecting piece, the connecting piece is suitable for being rotationally connected with a vehicle frame, the connecting piece is in driving connection with the driving mechanism, and the driving mechanism is suitable for driving the braking piece to reciprocate relative to the vehicle frame through the connecting piece so that the braking piece can press or loosen a railway. Therefore, when the rail vehicle needs to be braked, the driving mechanism can press the braking piece on the railway by driving the connecting piece, and after braking of the rail vehicle is completed, the driving mechanism can loosen the braking piece by driving the connecting piece so that braking of the rail vehicle is achieved. Compared with a wheel holding braking mode in the prior art, the braking piece is pressed on the railway to achieve braking, the situation that the braking distance of a vehicle is too long due to the fact that wheels are not completely locked can be avoided, and therefore the braking performance of the railway vehicle is improved.

    本发明涉及轨道车辆技术领域,具体而言,涉及一种轨道车辆紧急制动装置。该轨道车辆紧急制动装置包括驱动机构、连接件和制动件,制动件设置于连接件上,连接件适于与车架转动连接,连接件与驱动机构驱动连接,驱动机构适于通过连接件驱动制动件相对于所述车架往复运动以使制动件压紧或松开轨道。由此,当需要制动轨道车辆时,驱动机构可以通过带动连接件将制动件压紧于轨道上,当完成对轨道车辆的刹车后,驱动机构可以通过带动连接件将制动件松开,从而实现了对轨道车辆的制动,与现有技术中抱轮制动的方式相比,将制动件压紧于轨道上实现刹车可以避免将车轮未能完全锁死导致车辆制动距离过长,从而提高了轨道车辆的制动性能。
