The invention discloses a vehicle violation detection system and method based on image recognition, and the system mainly comprises a video acquisition module, an image processing module, and a communication module which are connected through electric signals. The detection method mainly comprises the following steps that the video acquisition module loads an acquired video frame; the image processing module dynamically updates a video frame background, and a dynamic background updating algorithm is adopted to effectively detect and recognize the vehicle movement condition; nonlinear filtering processing is carried out on the obtained target vehicle image, background subtraction is carried out to obtain a foreground image, and binarization processing is carried out; whether a vehicle exists in a set detection area or not is judged according to the binarized image; if yes, the mass center position of the vehicle is calculated; if not, the processing of the current frame is ended, and the next frame is continued to be processed; whether the vehicle has a violation behavior is judged according to the centroid position, and violation information is transmitted to a vehicle information database through a communication module, so that the violation vehicle can be investigated.
本发明公开了一种基于图像识别的车辆违章检测系统和方法,主要包括视频采集模块、图像处理模块、通信模块,各模块之间通过电信号连接。检测方法主要包括以下步骤:视频采集模块载入采集的视频帧;图像处理模块对视频帧背景进行动态更新,采用动态背景更新算法对车辆运动情况进行有效检测和识别;对获得的目标车辆图像进行非线性滤波处理,并进行背景差分,获得前景图像,并进行二值化处理;对二值化的图像进行判断,在设定的检测区内是否有车辆;若有车辆,则计算车辆的质心位置;若没有,则结束对本帧的处理,继续下一帧;根据质心位置判断车辆是否存在违章行为,并通过通信模块将违章信息传至车辆信息数据库,便于对违章车辆进行查处。
