The invention aims to easily adjust the levelness of a rotating shaft (driven shaft) of a driven wheel in a passenger conveying device. The passenger conveying device (1) is provided with a driving shaft (103), a driven shaft (104), a power transmission part (111) and a pair of bearings (105), wherein the power transmission part (111) transmits power from the driving shaft (103) to the driven shaft (104), and the bearings (105) rotatably support the driven shaft (104). Furthermore, the passenger conveying device (1) is provided with a height adjusting part (118), and the height adjusting part (118) is arranged on the end part side by taking the axial center of the driven shaft (104) as a reference. The height adjusting part (118) supports the driven shaft (104) from below and enables the height position of the end part side of the driven shaft (104) to be displaced.
