The invention relates to the technical field of charging piles, in particular to an automatic take-up charging pile which comprises a charging pile body, a charging gun, a gun line, a control system, a driving motor, a hook and a hanging line, wherein the charging gun is connected with the charging pile body through the gun line, and the driving motor is arranged in the charging pile body and connected with the control system. One end of the hanging line is connected with the driving motor, the other end of the hanging line is connected with the hook, the gun line is hung on the hook, and the control system can control the driving motor to roll or release the hanging line so as to control the hook to pull up or lower down the gun line. The problems that the gun line of the charging gun is too long and touches the floor and the user uses the charging gun to operate hard and laboriously can be avoided. The situation that the service life of the charging gun and the service life of the gun line are shortened due to ground contact abrasion of the gun line is avoided, the user use experience during use of the charging pile is improved, when a user uses for charging, the driving motor enables the gun line to move downwards through releasing the hanging line, and when the user completes charging and returns, the driving motor lifts the gun line through contracting the hanging line.
