The invention relates to a crawler crane and an arm lifting method thereof. The crawler crane comprises: a rotary table, an arm frame, a mast, a first hoisting mechanism, a first steel wire rope and a pulling plate assembly; the first end of the arm frame is connected to the rotary table; the first end of the mast is connected to the rotary table; the first hoisting mechanism is arranged on the rotary table; the first steel wire rope is connected with the second end of the mast and the first hoisting mechanism; the pulling plate assembly is connected with the second end of the arm frame and the second end of the mast; the pulling plate assembly comprises a pulling plate and an adjusting mechanism, and the adjusting mechanism is configured to adjust the length of the pulling plate assembly. The length of the pulling plate assembly can be adjusted in real time according to stress changes of all components of the whole machine, it is guaranteed that the force of all the components is kept in the optimal state in the whole arm lifting and working state, and the problem that under the arm lifting working condition, the pulling plate and the mast are large in stress is solved.

    本发明涉及一种履带式起重机及其起臂方法。其中,履带式起重机包括:转台;臂架,所述臂架的第一端连接于所述转台;桅杆,所述桅杆的第一端连接于所述转台;第一卷扬机构,设于所述转台;第一钢丝绳,连接所述桅杆的第二端和所述第一卷扬机构;以及拉板组件,连接所述臂架的第二端和所述桅杆的第二端;所述拉板组件包括拉板和调节机构,所述调节机构被配置为调节所述拉板组件的长度。本发明可根据整机各构件的受力变化实时调整拉板组件的长度,保证在整个起臂、工作状态时各构件力保持最优的状态,缓解起臂工况,拉板和桅杆受力较大的问题。
