The invention relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle and a cargo locking mechanism thereof, the cargo locking mechanism comprises a holder, a driving device, a cylindrical shell, a lock catch piece and an actuating piece, the actuating piece is arranged in the cylindrical shell in an axial sliding mode, the lock catch piece is provided with an actuating end and a locking end, the cylindrical shell is provided with a first end and a second end which are opposite to each other in the axial direction, the locking piece is hinged to the first end through a hinge point, a guide sliding way in sliding fit with the actuating end is formed on the actuating piece, and the guide sliding way is constructed in the mode that when the driving device drives the actuating piece to do linear reciprocating motion along the axis of the cylindrical shell, the locking piece can be shifted to rotate so as to be switched between the locking state and the unlocking state. In the locking state, the locking end of the locking fastener rotates outwards in the radial direction relative to the cylindrical shell so as to clamp the goods, and in the unlocking state, the locking end of the locking fastener rotates inwards in the radial direction relative to the cylindrical shell so as to release the goods. The cargo locking mechanism of the unmanned aerial vehicle can automatically load and unload cargoes and is low in production cost.
