The invention relates to the technical field of remote sensing and machine vision, and discloses an asynchronous road information extraction system for satellite images and a control method of the system. A road information extraction step comprises data pre-processing, model reasoning, reasoning result post-processing, road contour information vectorization and road center line information vectorization; and the asynchronous road information extraction system fuses a deep learning algorithm and an asynchronous calculation structure, realizes the rapid road information extraction, and comprises the following modules of a satellite image data pre-processing module; a road information extraction module; a model reasoning result post-processing module; a road contour vector extraction module; a road center line extraction module; a computing resource monitoring module; and an asynchronous pooling resource scheduling module. According to the system and the control method, different steps of a traditional road information extraction system are asynchronous, so that the average waiting time between the different steps is shortened, various resources of a computer are utilized more evenly and fully, and the road information with higher precision can be extracted quickly.
