The invention relates to the technical field of railway science, in particular to a remote operation and maintenance system of an urban rail signal system. The invention provides a remote operation and maintenance system of an urban rail signal system, which comprises a remote maintenance host and a plurality of business unit devices, wherein the remote maintenance host is connected with the plurality of business unit devices at the same time, is positioned at a far end and is responsible for uniformly initiating and processing all urban rail signal system maintenance work; and the business unit device is connected to the remote maintenance host through a special maintenance network, and is used as a terminal for receiving an operation command of the remote maintenance host, verifying and responding to related operation, and maintaining the vehicle-mounted equipment or the ground equipment. On the basis that existing equipment is fully utilized through remote reloading, unified and effective remote maintenance management of all signal equipment of the whole urban rail line is achieved, the maintenance work intensity of an urban rail transit signal system is lowered, and the maintenance work efficiency is improved.
