The invention discloses a material conveying device for bridge construction. The device comprises a conveying plate and a bottom plate, wherein an alarm mechanism is arranged in the middle of the bottom end of the conveying plate and comprises an abutting rod; a trapezoidal block is arranged below the abutting rod; the upper end of the slope of the trapezoidal block makes contact with the lower end of the abutting rod; a moving block is fixedly connected to the middle of the lower end of the trapezoidal block; a chute is formed in the upper end of the bottom plate; the moving block is connected into the chute in a sliding mode; and one end of the moving block is fixedly connected with a pressing block through a fixed block. The material conveying device has the beneficial effects that a touch switch of the alarm mechanism is turned on, so that an alarm is turned on, an alarm is given out, an operator can be reminded that materials are too heavy, and discharging is conducted in time; and a fixing mechanism is arranged, the length of a wrapping rope can be adjusted by adjusting the wrapping rope of the fixing mechanism according to the size and number of stacked steel meshes, meanwhile, a clamping block is clamped above a straight-through opening, so that the wrapping rope can be fixed, and therefore the steel meshes are fixed, and fixing is rapid and simple.
