The invention relates to a torsion beam type suspension, a manufacturing method thereof and an automobile, and belongs to the field of automobiles. The torsion beam type suspension comprises an arched cross beam, a first connecting part and a second connecting part. The arched cross beam is provided with a first end and a second end which are opposite, and an opening of the arched cross beam forms a containing space for an exhaust pipe to pass through. The first connecting part is connected with the first end of the arched cross beam and used for being connected with a hub of the automobile. And the second connecting part is connected with the second end of the arched cross beam and is used for being connected with another hub of the automobile.
