The invention provides an electric tricycle which can improve the weight balance of a vehicle. A swing shaft (133) is configured to be parallel to an axle (101). An operation arm (132) is an arm section fixed to the swing shaft (133) and is connected to an operation cable (131) that is pulled in accordance with a parking operation by an occupant, thereby operating the lock arm (138). The operation arm (132) is provided at a shaft end on the opposite side from an electric motor (66) in the axial direction of the swing shaft (133), and a parking lock gear (77) is provided further toward the electric motor (66) side than an intermediate mesh gear (78) in the axial direction of a motor output shaft (75).
