The invention relates to the technical field of electric automobiles, and discloses a power system of an electric automobile with double transmissions and a control method of the power system. The power system of the electric automobile with the double transmissions comprises three motors, namely a first motor, a second motor and a third motor; the two transmissions are respectively a first transmission connected with the first motor and a second transmission connected with the second motor and the third motor; the two differential mechanisms are the first differential mechanism and the second differential mechanism, the input end of the first differential mechanism is connected with the output end of the first transmission, the output end of the first differential mechanism is connected with the front axle, the input end of the second differential mechanism is connected with the output end of the second transmission, and the output end of the second differential mechanism is connected with the rear axle. According to the power system of the electric automobile with the double transmissions, the follow-up loss of the motor is reduced, so that the resistance is smaller and the power consumption is lower when the electric automobile is driven, and the endurance mileage of the electric automobile is prolonged.
