In a refrigeration mode, the four-way reversing valve is connected with the first air conditioner loop and the second air conditioner loop in parallel; in a heating mode, the four-way reversing valve is connected with the first air conditioner loop and the second air conditioner loop in series. According to the heat pump air conditioning system for the vehicle, two independent refrigerating circuits can be achieved, the influence of the refrigerating requirement of a vehicle-mounted cooling component on refrigerating of a passenger compartment in the driving process is avoided, and the refrigerating comfort of the passenger compartment is improved; when the two air conditioner loops are connected in series for heating, the rotating speed of the compressor is low, noise is low, and the NVH performance of the whole vehicle is greatly improved.
