The invention relates to a geofence judgment method and device for automatic driving, and relates to the technical field of automatic driving; the method comprises the following steps: obtaining vehicle satellite positioning information of a target vehicle; according to the vehicle satellite positioning information and the high-precision map data, acquiring a first relative position relation between the target vehicle and the road edge or the set target through calculation; based on detection information of a preset multi-source sensor of the target vehicle, acquiring a second relative position relation between the target vehicle and the road edge or the set target through calculation; and comparing the first relative position relationship with the second relative position relationship, and judging whether the target vehicle is located in the geo-fence. According to the invention, the satellite positioning technology and the multi-source sensor detection technology are used for analyzing and comparing the orientation of the target vehicle and the surrounding conditions of the vehicle, so that whether the target vehicle is located in the geofence or not is accurately judged, and technical support is provided for the reliability of subsequent automatic driving.
