The invention relates to a pedal linkage up-down pedaling bicycle which comprises a frame, a flywheel, a driving assembly, a shaft sleeve, pedal rods, a supporting column and a middle shaft, flat holes are formed in the pedal rods or driving levers, the driving assembly is fixedly connected to the middle shaft or the shaft sleeve, the pedal rods are fixed to the shaft sleeve, the supporting column is arranged between the two pedal rods or driving levers, one end of the supporting column is fixed to the frame, the middle of the swing rod is hinged to the supporting column and can swing around the supporting column, the two ends of the swing rod penetrate through flat holes formed in the two foot bars or the shifting rods respectively and can slide in the flat holes, and therefore reverse linkage of swing of the two foot bars is achieved through a seesaw type structure, the two pedals are driven to be in vertical reverse linkage, and the pedal rods only swing within a certain angle range, so that the driving torque can be increased by a method of lengthening the pedal rods.
