The invention discloses a rail transit vehicle and an auxiliary power supply device and method for a hybrid power system of the rail transit vehicle. The auxiliary power supply device comprises an auxiliary inverter, a voltage sensor, a charger, a three-phase auxiliary load, a socket for a warehouse, a direct-current load, a control storage battery, a power supply module, a rectifier, a traction inverter and a traction motor. The charger and the three-phase auxiliary load are connected with the auxiliary inverter through a fourth contactor contact; a first contactor contact is arranged between the power supply module and the rectifier; an energy storage power supply is connected in parallel between the rectifier and the traction inverter through a second contactor contact; auxiliary power supply control is achieved through opening and closing control over the first contactor contact, the second contactor contact and the fourth contactor contact, braking energy is fully absorbed through energy conversion of different paths of the hybrid power system, the energy is recycled through the energy conversion characteristic of fast charging and fast discharging of an energy storage power source, and therefore, auxiliary power supply achieves the purpose of efficiently utilizing energy.
