The lower end of the control handle is fixedly connected with one end of the rotating shaft, the other end of the rotating shaft is fixedly connected with a brake rod, the main body steel plate is rotationally connected with a closing block through a pin shaft, and the lower end of the closing block makes contact with the brake rod. The process of stopping wheels of the vehicle is optimized, workers need to change the state of the device only when the vehicle is driven out, and the working intensity of the workers is reduced; the wheel stopping device is fixed on the steel rail, the problem that a wheel stopping part is not tightly attached to the rail and consequently wheel stopping fails is solved, the wheel stopping effect is better, and the braking distance is shorter; and the problem of derailment caused by vehicle runaway due to inconsistent information, no iron shoes and vehicle runaway is reduced.
