The invention discloses an intelligent traffic software and hardware ecosystem construction method which comprises a software and hardware system construction mode, a communication association mechanism and a software development sharing mechanism, and is applied to the fields of smart city planning and design, urban road smart traffic and intelligent annunciator design. The method covers intelligent traffic signal control system hardware design, communication association mechanism and software development mode design, can replace an existing traffic signal controller, reduces equipment investment, reduces operation and maintenance cost, and improves traffic efficiency. The problems that an existing traffic signal controller is old in design thought, a plurality of intersection traffic signal controllers are not associated, and signal controller application software is not compatible are solved.
