A solid-state battery (10) includes a positive electrode layer (3) containing a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode layer (2) containing a negative electrode active material, and a solid electrolyte (1) interposed between the positive electrode layer (3) and the negative electrode layer (2). The solid electrolyte (1) includes a positive electrode-side electrolyte layer (1a) in contact with the positive electrode layer (3) and a negative electrode-side electrolyte layer (1b) in contact with the negative electrode layer (2). In the solid electrolyte (1), an area SSE2 of the positive electrode side of the positive electrode-side electrolyte layer (1a) differs from an area SSE1 of the negative electrode side of the negative electrode-side electrolyte layer (1b).

    本发明所要解决的问题在于,提供一种固体电池,能够提高固体电池的良率,进一步能够提高固体电池的耐久性。为了解决上述问题,本发明是一种固体电池10,其具备:正极层3,其含有正极活性物质;负极层2,其含有负极活物质;及,固体电解质1,其以介于正极层3和负极层2之间的方式配置;其中,固体电解质1,具备与正极层3接触的正极侧电解质层1a、及与负极层2接触的负极侧电解质层1b,并且,在固体电解质1中,正极侧电解质层1a的正极侧的面积SSE2与负极侧电解质层1b的负极侧的面积SSE1不同。
