A target object prediction system for a vehicle is proposed, and comprises a plurality of on-board sensor units (1), at least one V2X communication unit (2) for acquiring raw data about a motion state of at least one target object around the vehicle and a calculation unit (3); each vehicle-mounted sensor unit (1) and each V2X communication unit (2) are configured to be capable of performing primary fusion and tracking on the acquired original data and the predicted value, determined by the calculation unit (3), of the target object respectively, and the calculation unit (3) is configured to perform secondary fusion and tracking on the predicted value, determined by the calculation unit (3), of the target object; and the calculation unit (3) is configured to correlate track data obtained through primary fusion and tracking, perform fusion again, and determine a current state value of the target object and a predicted value of the next moment. The invention also relates to a target object prediction method, an automatic parking method and an automatic parking system. According to the invention, the reliability, accuracy and/or cost of perceiving and predicting target objects and automatic parking can be improved.
