The invention relates to a motor vehicle assembly for arrangement on a vehicle floor (FB). The motor vehicle assembly comprises at least one storage unit (1), respectively having a carrier (11), and a receptacle (12) for storing objects. Said receptacle is arranged on the carrier (11) and is displaceable relative to the carrier (11) along a displacement direction. The motor vehicle assembly further comprises a positioning device (2) for positioning the at least one storage unit (1) on the motor vehicle assembly, having at least on guideway (21, 22), along which the at least one storage unit (1) is displaceable, wherein the movement of the at least one storage unit (1) along the at least one guideway (21, 22) defines a track-shaped adjustment volume. Moreover, the motor vehicle assembly comprises an adjustment mechanism (3) having an actuating unit (31) and an actuating element (30) for displacing a selected receptacle (12) of a storage unit (1), which was positioned by the positioning device (2) at a selected position for depositing and/or removing objects, along an actuating path, which extends along the displacement direction, and which comprises at least the selected position for depositing and/or removing objects. The actuating element (30) is adjustable between an idle position outside the adjustment volume into an actuating position, in which the actuating element (30) engages with the adjustment volume for displacing the receptacle (12) between a starting point of the actuating path and an end point of the actuating path, by means of the actuating unit (31).
