A load lifting limiter for a luffing jib tower crane comprises an induction assembly, a lever and a pulley assembly. The induction assembly comprises an induction support, a first sensor, a second sensor, a first mounting frame, a second mounting frame, a third mounting frame and a fourth mounting frame, wherein the induction support is provided with a top plug pin and a bottom plug pin which are arranged up and down; the pulley assembly comprises a lifting limiter support, a pulley seat, a pulley, a pulley shaft and a bearing, the lifting limiter support is connected with the first sensor or the second sensor through a lever, the pulley and the pulley seat are sequentially sleeved on the pulley shaft from inside to outside, and the bearing is mounted between the pulley and the pulley seat. The load lifting limiter is convenient to use, practical, safe and accurate.
