The invention relates to a BIM-based super high-rise housing building construction elevator and a carrying method thereof. The elevator comprises a lifting car, a safety door is arranged on the side, facing a building body, of the lifting car in a rotating mode, a moving and transporting assembly is arranged in the lifting car and comprises a mounting plate, a carrying plate and a plurality of electric-hydraulic push rods, the carrying plate is arranged on the inner bottom wall of the lifting car, the mounting plate is arranged on the outer side wall of the lifting car, all the electric-hydraulic push rods are arranged on the upper surface of the mounting plate, and piston rods of the electric-hydraulic push rods are fixedly connected to the carrying plate. The carrying method for the elevator comprises the steps that access control is relieved, material pushing is controlled, and resetting is conducted for standby application. The elevator and the carrying method thereof have the effect that the working efficiency of transferring large-mass building materials between the lifting car and the building body by constructors is effectively improved.
