In order to provide a composite piezoelectric element with which it is possible for deformation generated in a specific direction to be measured accurately with high sensitivity, and a tire condition measuring device provided with said composite piezoelectric element, a composite piezoelectric element 10 is provided with a first electrode layer 12, a piezoelectric layer 13 disposed on the first electrode layer 12, and a second electrode layer 14 disposed on the piezoelectric layer 13, wherein, in a plan view, the composite piezoelectric element 10 is provided with measuring portions 15 in which the first electrode layer 12, the piezoelectric layer 13, and the second electrode layer 14 are provided, and buffer portions 16 in which the piezoelectric layer 13 is not provided.
