The invention provides an urban road network dynamic division method and device, computer equipment and a storage medium. According to the method, potential traffic state modes and multi-dimensional change characteristics in road network traffic state data are deeply mined, the traffic space-time correlation and the connectivity of the space structure of the road network are introduced, and dynamic division is carried out on the road network, therefore, each sub-road network has similar spatio-temporal evolution characteristics, the difference of traffic modes among the different sub-road networks is maximized, scientific division of the large-scale road network can be realized, and the fine management level of the road network is improved. The method can be used for intelligent traffic control of the large-scale road network, and adopts real-time traffic guidance and control strategies for the different sub-road networks, thereby realizing macroscopic regulation and control of traffic flow of the whole road network, and providing basic technical support for an intelligent traffic system driven by data.
