The forklift portal frame buffering structure comprises rubber buffering pads which are adjustably arranged on a right stand column and a left stand column and located at the movement limit position of an inner sliding frame, and the inner sliding frame is provided with buffering contact parts making contact with the rubber buffering pads. According to the forklift portal frame buffering structure, the rubber buffering pads and the buffering contact parts which have the buffer function are arranged between the stand columns and the inner sliding frame, when an oil cylinder ascends to about to reach the mechanical limit, the buffering contact parts start to make contact with the tops of the rubber buffering pads with the variable cross sections, and a buffer force starts to be generated; and in the compression process of the rubber pads, the pressure of a hydraulic system rises gently, when the lifting pressure of a rear lifting cylinder is reached, the rear lifting cylinder is lifted at the same time, and due to the fact that the cross section size of the rubber buffering pads is sequentially increased from bottom to top, the buffer force is gradually increased from very small and is not suddenly changed, so that the lifting transition of a front free cylinder and the rear lifting cylinder is smooth, the impact is not generated, in the buffering process, the hydraulic system does not generate a heating phenomenon.
