The invention relates to the technical field of new energy automobiles, and discloses a power assisting device for an electric automobile braking system and a usage method thereof.The power assisting device comprises a brake pump push rod, a booster and a booster push rod, and a diaphragm partition plate is arranged in the booster and divides an inner cavity of the booster into a high-pressure chamber and a negative-pressure chamber which are closed mutually. According to the power assisting device for the braking system of the electric automobile, even if power supply is abnormal, the pressure difference in the negative pressure cylinder and the high pressure cylinder can be used for driving the brake pump push rod and the diaphragm partition plate to move, then braking equipment is driven to brake, and it is ensured that the braking system can operate normally at any time; after the pressures in the high-pressure cylinder and the negative-pressure cylinder reach preset values, a hose in the peristaltic pump is in a flattened state under the action of the negative pressure of the negative-pressure cylinder, so that the peristaltic pump does not additionally consume power, and when the pressures in the negative-pressure cylinder and the high-pressure cylinder do not reach the preset values, the peristaltic pump can normally work, so that the pressures in the negative-pressure cylinder and the negative-pressure chamber reach the preset values.
