The invention provides a liquid cooling system for a power battery of an electric vehicle. The liquid cooling system comprises a shunting mechanism arranged between a main water inlet pipe and a main water outlet pipe; a large cold plate mechanism and a small cold plate mechanism which are connected to the shunting mechanism; wherein cooling liquid flows into the flow dividing mechanism from the main water inlet pipe, enters the large cold plate mechanism and the small cold plate mechanism through a water inlet of the flow dividing mechanism, flows back to the flow dividing mechanism and flows out from the main water outlet pipe. According to the liquid cooling system for the power battery of the electric vehicle, the large cold plate mechanism and the small cold plate mechanism are arranged to be of a flat plate structure, so that the large cold plate mechanism and the small cold plate mechanism have enough contact areas with the battery module, the cooling efficiency can be improved, and the temperature uniformity of the whole heat transfer surface in a low-temperature heating working condition can also be improved; the inner diameters of water inlet and outlet branches of the shunting mechanism are adjustable, flow can be distributed according to the pressure drop values of the cold plates with different sizes, and the temperature difference of the whole pack is reduced; in addition, the sizes of the flow channels of the large cold plate and the small cold plate and the design of the protrusions enhance the heat transfer efficiency, and meanwhile the self-strength and the internal pressure resistance are enhanced.

    本发明提供一种电动汽车动力电池液冷系统,包括设置在主进水管与主出水管之间的分流机构;连接至分流机构的大冷板机构和小冷板机构;冷却液从主进水管流入分流机构后,通过分流机构的进水口进入大冷板机构和小冷板机构中并回流至分流机构后,从主出水管流出。本发明提供的电动汽车动力电池液冷系统,将大冷板机构和小冷板机构设置为平板结构,使其与电池模组有足够的接触面积,既可以提升冷却效率还可以提升低温加热工况时整个传热面的温度均匀性;分流机构的进出水分支内径尺寸可调,根据不同尺寸冷板的压降值可分配流量,降低整包温差;此外,大小冷板的流道尺寸与凸起设计在增强传热效率的同时,也加强了自身强度与内部耐压性能。
