The intelligent elevator comprises an elevator body, first sensing units and a control unit, wherein the first sensing units are arranged at elevator entrances on all floors and used for detecting whether people exist at the elevator entrances or not; and when the first sensing unit detects that no person waits for the elevator on the corresponding floor and an elevator button on the corresponding floor is pressed, the control unit is used for automatically canceling the pressed elevator button. The first sensing units arranged in the elevator entrances of all the floors are used for detecting whether waiting passengers exist in the elevator entrances or not, and if it is detected that no passengers wait for the elevator on the corresponding floors and elevator buttons on the corresponding floors are pressed, the control unit can automatically cancel the situation that the elevator body arrives at the corresponding floors; and the elevator is stopped on the floor closest to the elevator, so that the unnecessary pause time of the elevator body is shortened, the time of passengers on other floors is saved, and the electric energy waste of the elevators is reduced.
