The invention discloses a handheld parachute which comprises a parachute handle, a large gear ring, a middle gear, a middle gear support, a small gear support, a driving blade, a lifting force blade and the like. Air pushes the driving blade to rotate, the driving blade drives the lifting force blade to rotate through gear transmission to generate lifting force, and therefore the falling speed is reduced, and the function of the parachute is achieved. The ends, close to the parachute handle, of the two blades are hinged through a pin shaft, so that the blades can be folded, the size is reduced, and carrying is convenient. The handheld parachute is simple in structure, very wide in application and extremely high in popularization value.
