The invention relates to a method for producing a structural component of a motor vehicle by thermoforming a sheet-like semi-finished product (organic sheet), which is reinforced from a thermoplastic material by means of embedded continuous fibers. According to the method, sub-regions of a plurality of layers or layers (81-83) of a thermoplastic plastic matrix with and without embedded continuous fibers or layers of continuous fibers are shaped into a composite member.
