The invention provides a control system for a balance crane, and belongs to the technical field of hoisting equipment. The control system solves the problem that the intelligent degree of the balance crane is low. The control system for the balance crane comprises a hoisting main body, a hoisting arm, a hoisting hook, a rotating mechanism, a balance mechanism and a lifting mechanism, wherein the rotating mechanism, the balance mechanism and the lifting mechanism are used for driving the hoisting arm to rotate, keeping balance after hoisting and driving the hoisting hook to ascend and descend respectively. The control system comprises an instruction module, an information processing module, a lifting control module, a rotating control module, a gravity sensor, an operation panel and a display screen, wherein the instruction module is used for controlling the operation of the hoisting main body; the information processing module is used for receiving various control instructions, feeding the control instructions back to the control system and recording and analyzing the operation track of the hoisting main body; and the display screen is used for displaying programming, the weight of a hoisted object and the operation track. The control system has the advantage of high intelligent degree.
