The present disclosure provides an energy recovery control system of a vehicle, and the control system includes a distance sensor configured to monitor a distance from a front target; a vehicle speed sensor configured to monitor a vehicle speed; a battery management system configured to monitor a remaining capacity of the battery; an energy recovery system which is configured to perform energy recovery in an on state to charge the battery; a controller which keeps real-time communication with the distance sensor, the speed sensor and the battery management system, and is configured to respond to the situation that the detected distance is smaller than or equal to a preset distance threshold value, and control the energy recovery system to be in a starting state; on the basis of the distance and the vehicle speed, estimate the current remaining duration of the energy recovery system continuing to be in the starting state; based on the residual electric quantity and the residual duration, control the current of the energy recovery system for charging the battery. The embodiment of the invention can improve the recovery rate of vehicle energy recovery.
